Tiburón Golf Club is host of the LPGA CME Group Tour Championship and the PGA TOUR QBE Shootout.
CME Group Tour Championship
The grand finale of the LPGA Tour season, the CME Group Tour Championship is played at the Tiburón Golf Club at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples.
The CME Group Tour Championship brings the world’s best players to Southwest Florida in a unique, season-long point based qualifying format. The "Race to the CME Globe" is a season-long points program that showcases the best performing players from the LPGA Tour season, and also highlights each and every title sponsor on the LPGA Tour.
Hosted annually by Tiburón Golf Club in December, the QBE Shootout includes an elite field of 24 PGA TOUR professionals who compete for a purse in excess of $2 million.
The QBE Shootout, which is hosted by World Golf Hall of Fame member Greg Norman, entered its 28th year in 2016! Tiburón Golf Club has been the host facility for this event for the past 16 years. Thanks to the support of sponsors, fans, volunteers and the Southwest Florida community, the Shootout has become one of the most prestigious and unique events on the PGA TOUR. For sponsors, fans, and TOUR professionals alike, the Shootout offers an intimate yet exciting atmosphere that should not be missed.
